Since 1982, the Volunteer Lawyers Project (VLP) has developed and supported pro bono programs to help Nebraska lawyers fulfill their special responsibility to do pro bono work. VLP recruits, trains, and supports lawyers willing to provide high quality legal services to low-income Nebraskans who lack the financial means to pay for legal representation.
